FCC is proud to offer several enhanced programs in addition to regular care that help you develop a strong customer base. Our Expanded Child Care (ECC) programs, under the auspices of the FCC, help parents (your customers) when their need is the greatest. These programs help you become the one they turn to when a little extra help is needed. Some of these programs include:
Far from a simple baby-sitting service, the FCC Program is looking for individuals who wish to be child-care professionals. You must be 18 years of age or older, able to read and speak English, in good mental and physical health and willing to undergo a comprehensive background check. After you complete a basic orientation program, you can set your own hours and fees and begin to care for children on an hourly, part-day, full-day or extended basis.

As an added benefit you'll also receive 60 hours of Air Force Standardized training, annual refresher training and be eligible for low cost insurance options. The FCC Program will assist you in seeking the Child Development Associate Credential and Accreditation through the National Association for Family Child Care.
... right from home
The best thing is your credentials follow you wherever you go, making your home-based business portable. When you PCS or when your spouse leaves the military, you can move your business along with your family.
... off base?
Are you a military family that would like to be an Air Force affiliated FCC home off-base? Or have you recently moved from another base where you were a licensed provider and are currently waiting for on-base housing? Or have you been an on-base provider in the past who has moved off-base? Then you're eligible to participate as an affiliate provider of Air Force FCC. The same great Lending Program is available, and you will receive all the training provided to on-base providers. The only difference from our on-base FCC Program is that you must be licensed by your state, county, or country that has child care licensing jurisdiction.
