All Valid Military ID Card holders are welcome to participate in this fun Run/Walk event!
Log your miles in the challenge book after each workout. Participants may choose to complete their workout at the Fitness Center using any of the center’s cardio equipment treadmill, bike or elliptical, or the base track and/or running trails.
Completed distance miles must be logged in at the Fitness Center by June 30!
Participants will receive incentive awards for their efforts.
Pool season is May 23 - Sept 1!
Pool hours are
Mon - Fri: 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sat: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sun: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.
4 person teams (1 member must be an adult).
Party at the end of league with trophies and each child will get a bowling ball!
The Swim Club is an incentive program that tracks laps and culminates towards a prize for their level of accomplishment.
McElveen ILC launches its Paws to Read! Summer Reading Program starts on 06/16/2014. During the next 6 weeks, the library will host a range of free activities for children , teens, and adults that encourage and support a love of reading. Participants also can win prizes for reaching their reading goals.
On the first day, June 16th, the Columbia Marionette Theatre will represent "Professor Brainstorm's Brilliant Idea" at 11 a.m. as a grand kick-off event.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has joined with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense to launch a training program for transitioning servicemembers and veterans called "Operation Boots to Business: From Service to Startup," to help them become entrepreneurs and create jobs. Through the Boots to Business initiative, servicemembers will learn the nuts and bolts of how to start and grow a business. They will also be introduced to the SBA's nationwide Resource Partner network for support throughout the lifecycle of their new business. PAC (Parent Advisory Committee) Meeting is held every 3rd Wednesday each month starting at 1200. A light lunch is served after the meeting.
