Career Development is responsible for all out-processing actions dealing with assignments, separations, and retirements. Our office works very closely with AFPC to ensure that all of our Airmen are taken care of. This includes taking care of any Airmen transitioning to another base or civilian life. Career Development is also the focal point for re-enlistments/extensions, separations/retirements, officer/enlisted pro-motions and outbound assignments.

Force Management has many functions within the MPS. We update duty information/status, personnel actions and evaluations (EPR/OPR/LOE).

Sections within Force Management include: Evaluations, Employments, and Customer Support.

Our customer support office is the focal point for in-processing. Leave Web and scheduling newcomer's briefs for all new Airmen on Shaw AFB is also handled here.
