Preschool
Enrichment Program:
Located in the child development center at 320 Laurel St., classes are available for 3-, 4-, and 5-year old children. The program is geared toward early childhood development, focusing on all skill areas. Classrooms are equipped with a complete line of age-appropriate educational toys, supplies, books. and equipment. |
With
today's hectic, fast-paced life-style, the need for quality
hourly child care is more important than ever before.
Shaw's CDC has added the following to add flexibility to their programs for today's needs:
1. Allow families with medical appointments to make a request for hourly care as soon as their appointment is established.
2. Take hourly care on a walk-in basis when available.
3. Offer families the availability to make reservations for designated hourly care spaces up to four weeks in advance.
4. Refer families who can't be served in the child development center to the family child care staff for assistance in finding hourly care.
It is important for families to remember once they have the reservation, they either need to use it or cancel it. If not, they will be charged the regular hourly fee for one hour after the first occurrence. In addition, the child development center will not accept requests for hourly care from families who make reservations and display a pattern of not using them.
